Andrea Garello is the Head of the White-Collar Defence and Investigations Team. He represents prominent corporations and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations involving various forms of alleged corporate misconduct, including securities fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, foreign bribery, insider trading and antitrust offenses.

In addition, Andrea Garello has extensive experience in the regulation of investment companies and investment advisers, where he advises boards of directors and management on regulatory matters ranging from examinations and government investigations to internal reviews and investigations.

His experience extends to every substantive area of white-collar criminal work affecting domestic and foreign institutions and individuals, including: from Securitirs Fraud & Market Manipulation to Export Controls, from Foreign Corrupt Practices and Anti-Bribery and Money-Laundering to Government Frauds, from Accounting and Tax Frauds to EH&S Frauds.

Well aware that a cyber- or privacy-related development can expand to encompass a number of other significant legal issues also of criminal nature, Andrea Garello works seamlessly with attorneys in our Regulatory, Corporate Litigation and Employment Litigation practices to address subsequent risks such as government or regulatory inquiries, shareholder, consumer or employee class action litigation, trade secrets theft, and funding or financial issues.

Andrea Garello regularly advises Clients with respect to their cyber incident response plans, to mobilize a data breach response, or conduct a privacy audit of the Client’s vendors, providing companies with tailored or full-service primary advice, and maintain the continuity of their operations amidst evolving cyber-threats and a complex regulatory landscape.
