Marco Fregolent focuses on domestic and international taxation. He counsels on a broad range of domestic and international tax planning matters, including tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions (including spin-offs and split-offs), financings, reorganizations, restructurings, partnership transactions, private equity transactions, and preservation and utilization of net operating losses.

Marco Fregolent also advises on capitalization issues, tax accounting issues, depreciation, accounting method and tax period changes, and compliance with information reporting and withholding rules, VAT and custom duties.

In addition, Marco Fregolent provides tax advice to individual clients, who seek seasoned guidance in particular regarding their personal holding companies, trusts and estates, and international tax planning for personal investments.

Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring

Marco Fregolent also focuses on bankruptcy law, representing domestic and multinational clients in a wide array of out-of-court insolvency related matters, including validation of pre-pack arrangements and composition with creditor plans.

Forensic Accounting Team

Marco Fregolent is part of the Forensic Accounting Team providing assistance and expertise on all financial aspects of corporate or tax litigation, arbitration and investigations.
